Snow?

With snow continuing to fall in the mountains for at least the coming week and a chance of the first snow of the winter here at Quelebu on Monday night, the Rayburn got a clean tonight ready for firing up in the coming days. Have resisted waxing the skis, don't want to tempt fate!

5 days of pointing completed at Pont de la Taule and about another 3 to go before the pointing on the ground and first floors are complete. Hope to collect a ram for the sheep in the coming days.

Have you got splodges of paint on the sheeps' arses so you know when they have been "rammed" as it were

You usually put the paint on the ram's chest (in fact you can buy a ram harness with a crayon attached)- then a ewe with a painted arse has been 'seen to'. I probably won't bother...I'll let the ewes keep their dignity.
