I bought my home in the Couserans Pyrénées in 2004 and left the UK to live here full time. After 5 years of solo adventure I met Susie and her children Jasper and Ruby. We married in 2012 and spend our time walking in the mountains, looking after our chickens and sheep, transforming their wool and other fibres into woven, knitted and felted creations and growing/foraging for our food.
Rain all day today so have busied myself with laying and varnishing the bathroom floor, fitting the window ironmongery and boarding up the front door.

Well Lee, I completetely agree with the comment of Xyryl. That's good that snow arrived at the Pyrénées.
I saw today the Midi de Bigorre webcams and enjoyed snow in the distance.

Is that window catch really supposed to be that way up???
yeah, it's holding a pair of casements together. Lovely design, pivots on two axes, so is completely reversible and very ergonomic.
