Only saw one thing whilst hunting today and it wasn't game. In fact is was a Hawfinch - the first one I've ever seen. It's instantly recognisable by it's size, as it's one of the largest finches in Europe, as this excellent photo by Max Westby illustrates. The Goldfinch nearer the camera is dwarfed by it's huge cousin.
J'ai vu seulement un troque aujourd'hui a la chasse et il n'a pas été gibier. En fait c'etais un grosbec - le premiere fois que je l'ai vu. Il est un des plus grande fringilladés en Europe, comme cette image montre. Le chardonneret plus proche de la photo-appareil est écrasée par ton cousin enorme.
